2012 Embassy Fair – Tuesday, April 24 to Sunday, April 29

Come and relive the days of old Kish Park at the 16th annual Embassy Fair at Derry Township Community Park. The fair opens Tuesday, April 24 and runs through Sunday, April 29. The Midway by Bartlebaugh Amusements will be open daily 6 pm to 10 pm, and Friday and Saturday nights 6 pm to 11 pm. Our Kid Connection Matinee will be Saturday from 2 to 5 pm, and there will be matinee on Sunday from 2 to 7 pm.
Kid Connection Matinee - purchase specially priced armbands at the Embassy Theatre during Kid Connection 9 am to 2 pm.

We have a full slate of bands and entertainment with our Embassy Arts in Action at the fair.

These performances are supported by a grant from the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA), the regional arts funding partnership of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency. State government funding comes through an annual appropriation by Pennsylvania's General Assembly and from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. PPA is administered in this region by the Community Partnerships Resource Conservation and Development Council.

The Embassy Theatre on South Main Street in Lewistown Pennsylvania, is a 1927 motion picture/vaudeville theatre, and is an excellent surviving example of theatre architecture of the 1920's.

The theatre is currently undergoing restoration.  This website was designed to immerse you in the historical context of the theatre, as well as to show you the current progress of the theatre.

We welcome you to join us at our various events throughout the year these events

 are here to help raise money for future projects.
